●guide 家族旅行村（６００ｍ）から林の中を北へ鳳来山を目指す。権堂から急登を過ぎると広いブナの尾根を登る。滝ノ小屋から北北西に八丁坂の登り。河原宿からは北へ、樹林帯を抜けて外輪山を目指して登る。稜線にでればカルデラが覗き込める。行者岳（２１５９ｍ）まではすぐ。時間があれば新山まで往復してきてもよい。下りは同路。クラックに注意。
●advice春スキーとはいえ、標高もあるので天候の急変には十分に注意する。大台野道が開通すればウツタテ付近まで車で入れる、滝の小屋（１２８０ｍ）までのアプローチが楽。行程も大幅に短縮。★★。雪の状況がゆるせばロングルートを楽しみたいもの。
